New & Notable: New 10x80 Size Added To S-UF® and S-UP® Range!

New & Notable: Sormat Toggle-Type Hollow Wall Anchor TOLA
Sormat hollow wall anchor TOLA is so-called toggle-type fixing for various sheet and hollow structures. TOLA is suitable for fixing heavier home appliances and objects such as flat panel displays, lamps, sinks, shelves etc. in accordance with the sheet material properties. TOLA is equipped with M6x62 screw and the maximum construction sheet structure thickness for a dependable installation is 70 mm. TOLA requires only a 13mm drill hole, is easy to install and its clever design ensures good load distribution over the entire length of the anchor. TOLA is available also in Sormat DIY selection!
Product Update: Mechanical Galvanized Screws For Sormat Universal Façade Plug S-UF® And S-UP®!
After extensive testing by Sormat R & D, the mechanically galvanized screw for the Sormat Universal Façade Plug S-UF® and S-UP® is ready to be released. New mechanical galvanized (MG) screws will replace current hot-dip galvanized screws in the S-UF®/S-UP® product range during October 2011. Mechanical galvanizing of the screw offers several benefits over HDG: MG coating process provides smoother coating leaving the screw surface even and thus allowing for easier mounting to the nylon plug. MG process also leaves the standard SW13/T40 and countersunk/T40 heads cleaner from coating process residue, contributing further to the easier than before installation of these popular fixings. According to Sormat R & D salt spray testing, 25 µm MG coating offers approximately twice as good corrosion protection results when compared to a 40 µm thick HDG coating. Sormat S-UF®/S-UP® MG are another pair of trusted fixing from Finland surpassing their HDG coated predecessors in the ease of installation, corrosion resistance and affordability. S-UF® and S-UP® are available also in zinc-plated and A2 stainless steel (limited range) versions. Please contact Sormat sales for additional information.
